Jordan Gold was born and raised in Toronto. After completing his Bachelor of Arts degree at McGill University in Montreal, Jordan spent half a year learning Spanish and volunteering in a children’s orphanage in Quito, Ecuador. Jordan returned home to Toronto to begin his study of law. He attended the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law for the following three years, graduating in 2012. There Jordan developed his particular interest in the Charter rights of Canadians and how they relate to those accused of criminal offences.
During his time in law school, Jordan worked on a volunteer basis in the Refugee and Immigration division at Downtown Legal Services, a clinic providing free legal representation to Torontonians who meet certain financial requirements but are not eligible for Legal Aid. In his final year of law school, Jordan spent one semester studying criminal law at Tel Aviv University in Israel. In the summer of 2011 Jordan joined the team at Robichaud’s as a summer student, completed his articles and has been working as trial counsel at Robichaud’s since his call to the bar in 2013.
As a litigator, Jordan has represented clients charged with criminal offences including: murder and attempted murder, drug trafficking and importing, firearms offences, assault and sexual assault and driving offences ranging from Impaired Driving to Dangerous Driving Causing Death.
